Kids Community Voices

Thinking and Writing Exercises for Students (with Guidelines for Educators)

Writing Assignments

Writing exercises to help children think about their communities, with a teachers guide, will be available for use in spring 2007. The exercise will ask children to think about the people who are important to their communities at home and school, and to give their ideas about ways to improve their communities.

Student responses to Kids Community Voices from across Texas will be posted on the Texas Community Advocate website.
